Thank you for the kind words, but im not great at drawing or inking,im my own morst critic, when i finish a piece, since i draw it and ink it up its 2 different view points that i have to satisfy,as the penciler i have to lay down all the correct lines and i sometimes go crazy with detail, that i as the inker go what the hell was i doing? all this detail...but with each piece you learn and get better, especially inking, learning how to use the different lines and to add feathering with the brush, for me i can see where i need to improve and i take it as ill do better next time.
Here at deviant art are so many fantastic artists that im just amazed at the output and im just alongside these greats with my art, which sometimes for me isnt strong enough or ill see where the inking could be better,or maybe the art itself is just ok,other people may like it but i try to see the positive aspects.
Try to take some risks with the inks, when i moved to the brush that was a big thing, for me having only used technical pens, but then i saw the difference, and i slowly got better at it. Your on the right road the art looks great ,just challenge yourself a little with the inks, where its close to shadow heavier lines, when its farther away from shadow light lines that type of thing, jeez i wrote a book here, anyway hope that helps a little.
